Stride For A Ride – BCCA Walk-A-Thon 2024

Dear Parents,

We are thrilled to announce the BCCA Walk-A-Thon, scheduled on May 24th! It will be a day filled with fun, fitness, and fundraising!

The “Stride For A  Ride” BCCA Walk-A-Thon Campaign that will run from May 10th to May 24th is a school-wide initiative aimed to raise $50,000 for a New 72 Passenger Environmentally Friendly School Bus and donate a portion of the proceeds to CityReach Care Society in Tri-Cities charity, extending our impact beyond our school community.

With our campuses currently separated, it’s more important than ever to provide avenues for all three campuses to come together as one united community.  So get ready to lace up your sneakers and join us for an exciting day outdoors at the Stride For A Ride BCCA Walk-A-Thon on Friday, May 24th!

Why Participate?

  • Provide crucial transportation for K-12 students.
  • Bridge funding gap with limited government support.
  • Promote health, wellness, and values of generosity and service.
  • Unite all three campuses as one community.

How Does it Work?

  • Participation is open to all BCCA Students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
  • Participants must abide by the Walk-A-Thon Rules.
  • Parents help their children collect pledges from family and friends from May 10th to May 24th by sharing our Canada Helps link.

  • Parents can  also volunteer, cheer on students, or join post-event community connections with food trucks and games!
