We are committed to growing our mission. God has been faithful all these past years to bring us to where we are and we know that His work isn’t done yet. Our dream of securing a permanent facility for our school is looking bright. We want to be able to accommodate more families and children who are desiring to give their children a strong Biblical foundation and Christ-centered education.
Our tuition fees and the partial grant that we receive from the government are not enough to cover our school expenses, hence the need to fundraise. We wanted to continue our mission work of assisting students and families who otherwise could not afford the cost of education. We need to rally around each other and contribute towards our annual school fund.
Our Legacy Builders Breakfast has been our major annual fundraiser for BC Christian Academy for the past 10 years since 2010. Each year, our school hosts this annual Breakfast Fundraiser to share stories of how the lives of our students and their families are being transformed and impacted in BC Christian Academy. There is no ticket price and breakfast is FREE but yes, all guests will be asked to consider making a contribution. There is no minimum and no maximum gift requested. As much as anything, we want people to come and find out about our beautiful school community and the many inspiring things that happen in BCCA.
Our Mission Ambassadors or Table Captains have been indispensable to the success of our Breakfast Fundraiser. To become a Table Captain is to help fill a table of 10 guests (ideally these are people who are somewhat already familiar with our school and Christian education). The script or message when they invite, materials, assistance, and encouragement are provided. It is a rewarding task and people who have agreed to help as Table Captains generally find that the hours they have spent towards this endeavor is “all worth their while.”
When we remind ourselves that our school is the Lord’s and that we are part of God’s work here at BC Christian Academy, supporting one another becomes an opportunity to further strengthen our community and strengthen our faith.
