Out-Of-School

 

WELCOME ….. to BCCA Kids Club Out-of-School. This brochure is designed to give you the information you need to know about our program. Please feel free to talk to us if you have any further questions.

 

Out-of-School Care

V Your child will have the opportunity to interact with their peers and participate in various activities. Some of those activities include crafts, puzzles, games, field-trips, outdoor time (sports/playground), devotions plus many more.

 

Open Door Policy

V We believe that communication is key to a good relationship. If there is anything that you need to discuss with us about your child, we are available to talk. We welcome feedback on all aspects of the program.

V Each child as special and precious in God’s eyes.
V Children as unique, competent individuals.
V Their ideas and opinions.
V Parent’s feedback and involvement.

 

Group Time

V During group time the children have the opportunity to participate in a group game, listen to a devotion and make a craft.

 

V The devotions are based on the bible and it teaches the children about God, His Son Jesus and the incredible love He has for us

 

 

DaiIy Routine

Mornings

In the mornings the children are able to choose where they spend their time before they leave for school.

~ Arrival (7am - 9am)

~ Freeplay - Games, books, art, etc

~ Get ready for school and get dropped off

 

Afternoons

When the children arrive from school in the afternoon, they have snack, group time, and freeplay.

~ Staff pick-up from schools (K - Grade 6)

~ Snack - Wash hands and eat provided snack or one from home

~ Group Time

~ Freeplay or Outdoor Time

~ Parents pick-up (Close at 6:30pm)

 

Professional Days

V On professional days the first half of the morning is spent in freeplay and then the group heads out on a field-trip

 

Mission Statement

V To provide a safe, Christ-centered environment for children to learn and grow. Our goal is to provide children with activities that enhance their spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional and social development.

 

Teachers

V All staff at BCCA Kids Club Out-of-School are committed Christians who adhere to BCCA’s Statement of Faith.

 

V Each teacher also holds a valid first aid certificate and has undergone a criminal record check.
